Virtual Industrial Cadets event for 15-18 year olds

This year’s EDT Industrial Cadets week will run from the 23-27 November 2020. The five days – aimed at 15-18 year olds and their teachers – allows a sneak peak into the world of work across the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) industries. The week will involve several ‘Insight Into’ sessions allowing students to gain access into different companies through a series of live online sessions, interactive activities, panels, videos and case studies. The experience is designed to fit within a school day timeframe and all sessions will be recorded for those who cannot attend.

On the 26 November, GSK will be running various sessions for students to learn more about the work we do as well as be introduced to our early talent team who will provide insight into the career paths and job roles within GSK. There will also be an opportunity to hear from our STEM ambassadors as well as go on a virtual tour of some of our sites and much more.
