GSK's UK Young Scientist and Engineers of the Year: Maeve Stillman from St Mary’s College in Derry, and Grace Lord, Brendan Miralles and Aelia Sellar from Loughborough Schools Foundation, took home the top prizes at this year’s Big Bang Competition.

Imogen Cowley recently won The Telegraph UK STEM Awards with her idea “SnapVaccine”, after entering the GSK-sponsored Healthcare Challenge to explore new ideas to help prevent or treat childhood pneumonia in developing countries.
Emily Xu GSK UK Young Scientist of the Year
In March this year, Emily Xu was awarded the GSK UK Young Scientist of the Year title at The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition, for her project “New Ways of Separating Mirror Image Molecules”.
